Hatha Yoga All Levels

Claudia Hoyos  | Tuesdays – August 15th  at 6 pm

These classes are designed to establish a foundation for your yoga practice. This practice of āsanas (postures) includes standing, seated and preparation for backbends and shoulder-stand offering an emphasis on alignment and breath awareness.

 


Prenatal Yoga

Claudia Hoyos  | Tuesdays – August 15th  at 7 pm

Our prenatal yoga classes are created especially for expectant mothers in their second and third trimesters. We will guide you through postures to strengthen your body and prepare for birth while fostering an awareness and connection to your baby with meditation, relaxation, and breath work. No previous yoga experience is necessary, but please consult your healthcare provider before taking on any new exercise during pregnancy.

 


Restorative Gentle Hatha Yoga

Claudia Hoyos  | Tuesdays – August 15th  at 8 pm

Vinyasa yoga links movement from posture to posture with the breath for a fluid practice. Our slow flow class moves at a pace comfortable for newer practitioners, with enough challenge to keep more experienced yogis in the moment. The focus is also brought to internal aspects of yoga through breath-work and meditation.

 


Mom and Baby Yoga

Mom & Baby yoga is an opportunity for mothers to share breath and movement with their infants while nurturing themselves and building community with other mothers. Our focus is on slower gentler movement suitable for post-partum recovery. For mothers whose caregivers have approved a return to exercise and their pre-crawling babies. Some poses can incorporate an awake baby, but please bring whatever makes your baby comfortable, a blanket, small bouncer, or seat, as well as their favourite toy or soother.

 

 


Infant Massage Class

Taryn Gauley  | Thursday – September 7 9:30 – 10:30 am

Join Taryn Gauley, RMT in a workshop for parents and caregivers to learn how to give massage to babies (pre-crawling). The workshop is one hour in length where you will learn how to massage baby at home. Massage can be used for: colic, gas, digestion, discomfort, sleep, relaxation and bonding with parents.

**There is use of COCONUT OIL. please make note of allergies**

 


Belly Dance

Karyn Hughes |    Wednesdays – September 13  at 7:30 pm

In a positive and fun atmosphere, learn the beautiful art of belly dancing. Learn the basic moves while toning your core. This class is for all shapes and sizes and abilities. By the end of the session, students will have learned all the basic moves as well as a simple choreography.
